{The teenager} who hacked Rockstar and leaked in-development gameplay footage from the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 has been sentenced to an ‘indefinite hospital order’.
That’s according to the BBC, which studies that Arion Kurtaj of the hacking group Lapsus$ might be remaining in a safe hospital for the remainder of his life until a physician deems him not a hazard. Throughout his sentencing, a psychological well being evaluation confirmed that Kurtaj “continued to precise the intent to return to cybercrime as quickly as potential”.
{The teenager} is reported as being violent which in custody and apparently is unfit to face trial because of his extreme autism.
Kurtaj performed the hack on Rockstar whereas on bail for each Nvidia and telecomms large BT/EE. He did so with an Amazon Fireplace TV stick and a cell phone.
Bloomberg reports that Kurtaj was discovered liable on all 12 expenses introduced in opposition to him.
Rockstar formally revealed Grand Theft Auto 6 earlier in December. The trailer has damaged viewership data, clocking in 128m views in its first 4 days.
