French publishing large Ubisoft is making cuts to its Canadian workplaces.
As reported by Kotaku, the corporate is shedding 98 members of employees throughout the Nice White North, although a complete of 124 positions are being affected. That is apparently a part of a “reorganisation” of Ubisoft’s common and admin groups, in addition to its IT division and the agency’s SFX studio, Hybride. That outfit has been concerned within the likes of Disney’s The Mandalorian TV present.
In a letter to the Quebec authorities, Ubisoft confirmed that layoffs had been happening at its Montreal studio in addition to its broader Canadian enterprise.
